I have not had a chance to use my adapter yet. I put it in the car to recharge my Kindle Fire. However, I am not in the car on long trips any longer being retired. I have faith that it will perform its duty when the time comes and recharge my tablet.

This is the same charger that comes with the Fire.

It is big, black, bulky, and just plain ugly. What were they thinking ? Obviously they were not. And the $25 price is a total scam.

Mine has stayed in the box. I never used it. I am using my sleek white charger with detachable cable from an earlier Kindle. I also have a couple of Blackberry Playbook chargers that I bought for $5 each on closeout and they work great.

Please, please, don't buy this. There are far better choices out there.

The cord is to short needs to be longer hard to charge when reading .If it was longer would be so much easyer I like to read and this is great to take with me just don't like the cord.
