This amp is the neck-in-neck with the Alpine MRP-M500 as the best amp pushing similar power and similar price-point. This amp is slightly more powerful than the Alpine but it is slightly larger also.
Enough of the comparison, this amp hold its own. I am pushing a MTX TR5512-04 in a ported enclosure and although this amp is rated at 320 RMS and the sub is rated at 400 RMS you can not tell. The amp is more than adequate for the sub and pushes the sub to clean, deep lows. This baby shakes and is clean. Adds depth to all types of music.
This amp/sub combination adds depth to the existing system in my Hyundai Genesis. I am happy as a teenager and I am almost 50 :).

This is a great 500 watt entry level amp although I wish I would have read more because it just so happens that it was about 2 inches too big for my box (a single Rockford 12" P2) so I had to rig up some boards on the sides to make it so I could mount it on the box,
Other than that I have no complaints and hope it lasts for years to come

I have had this amp for about 6 months now and have ran a few setups on it.
First i powered 2 10" PB PS-10,in a sealed .75cf box. It pushed them good and hit HARD.
Then i switched to 2 Rockford R2 10's in the same box. The subs had been wired at 4ohm each to get a 2ohm load to the amp(DVC 4ohm,wired in series)they hit almost as hard. I recently sold the amp but before i did i was running 1 Rockford T1 10" in a ported 1.5cf box and it hit really hard and clean. Now the person i sold it to is powering 2 Dual 12's and like the others it pushes them perfectly fine.
Now as for the cons:
When running 2ohm load it would overheat and go into protect when playing a song with a constant bass line.
I burnt some skin touching the amp one time it got so hot.
The terminals aren't the best if you plan to run bare wire but if you use the spade terminals that is no longer a problem.
To some the size maybe a problem as it is large.
I would recommend this amp to anyone looking for a amp with atleast 500w RMS@2ohm.I have recommended it to many friends.
For anyone wanting to know the amp i got put out 516w RMS@2ohms.
